David has 25 years’ experience in medicinal chemistry within the pharmaceutical industry (GSK), mainly in the discovery of antibiotic drugs, including Augmentin and Gepotidicin. After GSK, David has worked in the antibacterial biotech arena (Prolysis, Biota) including 10 years at Antabio. He held a part-time academic position in the Chemistry Department of University College London (UCL) from 2008 to 2011. At Antabio, David directs medicinal chemistry activities and manages Antabio’s extensive patent estate. He is an inventor on 40 patents and an author on 37 papers.
